Welcome to Choral Singers!
for registration at SICM

In 2005, SICM began presenting in its annual week in Whitby, a Community Choral Concert presented by the students of the Institute (themselves organists and directors of church choirs across Canada), and directed and accompanied by the prominent choral and organ faculty of the Institute’s study week. In celebration of SICM’s 40th year it began welcoming choristers to take part in this rare summer experience to rehearse for four days under international-calibre leadership and present a concert for the enrichment of the Whitby/Durham region community under the auspices of the Institute.

Chorister Registrants attend rehearsals from 4 -5:30 and 8pm to 9:30pm on Sunday of Institute week (dinner included), and evenings Monday to Wednesday; the Community Choral Concert will take place on Thursday 8 July at 8:00pm in St. George’s Memorial Anglican Church, Oshawa.
